IU School of Medicine offers a three-year ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Hepatology fellowship as well as continuing medical education (CME) programs, an annual GI update course and an annual AASLD update.
The Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology offers categorical fellowship training as well as subspecialty training in advanced endoscopy.
The GI Update is an annual, full-day CME event hosted by the Gastroenterology/Hepatology Division at IU School of Medicine. The course features updates on recent literature in upper and lower GI tract, liver and pancreatobiliary disease as well as presentations on specific topics of interest to primary care providers. Typically held on the first Friday in May, this course is regularly attended by more than 200 primary care providers, gastroenterologists and gastroenterology nurses.
Medical professionals interested in Advanced Endoscopy CME and non-CME courses are invited to attend the ERCP Workshop.
