Recognized as one of the top programs of its kind in the country, faculty physicians within the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Division of Pulmonary Medicine provide general pulmonary and critical care services at clinical sites across Indianapolis while training the next generation of pulmonologists.
Led by Roberto Machado, MD, the division is comprised of more than forty physicians and investigators who actively participate in research programs, community service and an extensive array of clinical activities. The division provides two active fellowship programs in critical care and sleep medicine, serves five major hospitals and several premier specialty clinics in the Indianapolis area, and educates future physicians in a wide array of medical education programs.
