Hematology/Oncology

Department of Medicine faculty physicians in the Hematology/Oncology division are active in nationally recognized medical research and provide exceptional education programs and patient care. At the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and other clinical sites, these faculty physicians focus on surgical, medial, and radiation oncology. This team of IU School of Medicine educators also participate in the implementation of Perfexion Gamma Knife Therapy and the Precision Genomics Program.

Research

Research within this division is led by world-renowned faculty members developing innovative protocols, novel treatments and new knowledge to expand the understanding of hematology and oncology.

Clinical Care

Services provided by faculty oncologists include treatment and management of bladder, breast, head and neck, kidney, lung, testicular, thyroid, pancreatic, prostate and salivary gland cancers; cardio-oncology; leukemia; and lymphoma.

Fellowship

The Hematology/ Oncology team offers a combined three-year fellowship program.
