The Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases Pilot and Feasibility (P&F) Program provides funding for projects that have outstanding potential to open an area of diabetes-related research to both new and established investigators in a diverse scientific disciplines at IU School of Medicine, Indiana University Purdue University – Indianapolis (IUPUI), and Purdue University. The objective of this program is to foster the development of a community of productive, well-connected investigators whose work leads to advances in the treatment of diabetes and its complications. The P&F Program is directed by Jeffrey Elmendorf, PhD, associate professor of cellular and integrative physiology, biochemistry and microbiology.
Applications for Pilot and Feasibility funding for 2020-2021 will open in January 2020.
