Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy and Sleep Medicine

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at IU School of Medicine is a national leader in clinical care, teaching and research in pediatric respiratory medicine. As the only comprehensive pediatric respiratory medicine program in Indiana, this team of faculty pediatricians cares for children throughout the state and regionally.

This pediatric specialty division:

  • Offers family-centered, child-focused, comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical care for children with respiratory, allergic and sleep disorders in Indiana
  • Provides a specialized medical home for children with chronic allergy and respiratory illnesses that interfaces with hospital-based and community-based care
  • Conducts basic, clinical and translational research that directly translates new discoveries and therapies into improved care of children with allergy and  respiratory disorders
  • Trains pediatric physician-scientists and clinician educators as future academic leaders
