Adolescent Behavioral Health Research Program

The Adolescent Behavioral Health Research Program at Indiana University School of Medicine is at the forefront of conducting research with adolescents and their families to improve health outcomes for young people, to understand the etiology of adolescent behavioral health and to develop and implement evidence-based interventions. The program was established in 2018 to connect investigators and institutional resources at IU School of Medicine for local, state and nationwide collaborative research.

Research

The Adolescent Behavioral Health Research Program conducts local, state and nationwide collaborative research to better understand adolescent behavioral health and to develop and implement interventions.

Educational and training opportunities are available for students as well as community members and youth-serving organizations.

Faculty

Faculty in the Adolescent Behavioral Health Research Program are specialists from Indiana University School of Medicine departments and collaborators from other Indiana University schools. Faculty members from pediatrics, psychology and psychiatry collaborate with youth, families, communities and youth-serving systems to conduct high-quality translational science, intervention and implementation research projects. The program also offers training options for students and community members.
