INTREPID

The Indiana Interdisciplinary Trauma and Resilience Education Partnership for Implementation and Dissemination (INTREPID) Center aims to expand the delivery and access to high-quality, evidence-based, trauma-focused services for youth and families across Indiana. The INTREPID Center's activities focus on children and adolescents affected by traumatic events, including those from historically underserved communities, and personnel in youth-serving systems.

With support from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) and in collaboration with community partners, the INTREPID Center works to:

  • Increase statewide workforce capacity through training and technical assistance for youth-serving professionals across healthcare, education, juvenile justice and child welfare
  • Expand access to evidence-based direct services—including screening, assessment and treatment—for youth and families impacted by trauma
  • Provide education and disseminate information and resources on childhood trauma to a broad audience
