Student Interest Groups (SIGs) are registered organizations that are founded and led by students at Indiana University School of Medicine. Students may develop and found a student interest group based on any theme of interest to members of the medical student population.

Geriatrics SIG | Geriatrics SIG will build a community of students interested in the care of older adults. We host events to educate about caring for this patient population, build community and expose students to fellows and faculty that focus on geriatrics, improve the care of older adults at the student outreach clinic, and collaborate with other SIGs to learn about older adult care in other specialties. |

Global Health SIG | The mission of the Global Health SIG is to provide opportunities for students at the IU School of Medicine to learn about ways to engage in sustainable, locally-led global medicine in an ethically and culturally appropriate way both domestically and abroad. We are committed to hosting events related to research, clinical care and education. |
