The Division of Rhinology at IU School of Medicine is a destination center for chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal breathing problems. Division members frequently partner with surgeons in neurology, endocrinology, head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery to determine how to best preserve facial nerve anatomy within the sinus area during complex surgical procedures.
The North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) has named IU School of Medicine and the Division of Rhinology a Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction. This recognition is a collaboration between the Division of Rhinology, Division of Neurotology and Division of Head Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Neurological Surgery.

The Division of Rhinology includes two fellowship-trained rhinologists who lead residents, fellows and medical students from the school.
