Research within the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at IU School of Medicine centers on developing novel therapeutic treatments as well as monitoring cognitive and behavioral development in otolaryngology patients from birth to 18 years of age.
The DeVault Otologic Research Lab studies speech perception and language development in children. Discoveries in this lab have led to greater understanding of children’s adaptive behavior development and executive function.
