Administrative Core

three members of the administrative team in white lab coats

The administrative core facilitates cross-disciplinary research by working with the Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health thematic teams of musculoskeletal researchers. This core also enhances internal and external communications, provides pilot funding, trains the next generation of musculoskeletal researchers and provides oversight and evaluation of the other clinical research cores.

Administrative Core Functions

The administrative core provides administrative support to the cores as well as annual evaluation of their efficiency, function, usage and services.

The administrative core provides enrichment to expand the breadth and depth of musculoskeletal research through internal communication at Indiana University School of Medicine and external outreach programs at other schools and campuses.

The goal of the ICMH Clinical Research Center (CRC) Pilot Funding Program is to promote the use of technologies and expertise afforded by the ICMH CRC to facilitate new research initiatives and encourage collaboration and cooperation between clinical researchers in musculoskeletal health.

This funding opportunity announcement invites applications from ICMH members holding a faculty position. The program is particularly directed at new investigators seeking funds or for any investigator obtaining critical preliminary and/or feasibility data for a grant application or conducting pilot experiments to test a new idea. Cooperation between basic and clinical researchers and interdisciplinary collaborations are encouraged.
