Information Technology

The Data Analyst role will focus on core data management services for the interdisciplinary research team directed by Dr. Sarah Wiehe at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM). Under her direction are several related initiatives that are central to her extramurally-funded grant portfolio as part of IUSM and to her Co-Director role as part of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). These initiatives investigate social determinants of health, patterns of healthcare and social service utilization, justice involvement and residential mobility to identify opportunities for intervention and to improve health equity in Indiana.

The VanDusen Lab in the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research is seeking motivated individuals to perform a variety of tasks in support of ongoing research related to cardiac gene regulation. The lab uses cutting-edge technologies from the fields of molecular biology, genetics, and genome editing to generate insights into genetic control of heart development and disease. This will be an excellent opportunity for students in bio/biomedical related fields to learn technical skills and become familiar with routine research lab functions.
