Education Programs

The Department of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine participates in the training of medical students, resident physicians and fellows. Led by nationally and internationally recognized experts in neurology clinical care and research, our education programs cover the full range of neurological specialties, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunology, neuroinfectious disease, neuromuscular disorders, dementia, neuro-oncology and sleep disorders.

Residency

The only neurology training in Indiana, IU School of Medicine offers two ACGME-accredited residency programs in adult and child neurology, which rotate at five partnering hospitals in Indianapolis.

Fellowship

The Department of Neurology offers four accredited fellowship programs: clinical neurophysiology (ACGME), vascular neurology (ACGME), behavioral neurology (UCNS) and neuro-ophthalmology(AUPO).
