The Child Neurology program in the Department of Neurology at Indiana School of Medicine is the largest and most productive group of child neurologists in the state of Indiana. The section offers expert and cutting-edge clinical care to children throughout Indiana and the Midwest, from curative epilepsy treatment in a rapidly growing epilepsy surgery program to the revolutionary therapies offered in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic. The program has a strong emphasis on service and education, paired with a rapidly developing research presence in child neurology. Outpatient clinical effort is centered at Riley Hospital for Children, with offices in the north and west suburbs of Indianapolis. The department offers a Child Neurology Residency Program and, in cooperation with Developmental Pediatrics, a Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Program.
