Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
Musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK) has proven beneficial for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of patients, providing a noninvasive means for following a patient’s response to therapy. Physicians use musculoskeletal ultrasound for aspirating fluid, injections of medication, decompression of cysts, drainage and biopsies with more guidance and accuracy. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is available in the ultrasound clinic at the MDC clinic.
