Eligibility
Faculty who are an assistant professor on the clinical/educator, clinical or other non-research track in any unit or health system partner with an interest in developing an area of scholarship are encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to those who have worked in the department at least half time for two years or more.
Each scholar’s home division or department will be asked to cover scholar protected time and the cost of the program. This coverage is guaranteed for scholars within the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest describing how participation in the program fits their career goals and what they hope to achieve from participating in the program. A CV should be included with your letter of interest.
Applicants should submit a paragraph length description of the scholarly project you want to develop.
Applicants should submit a letter of support from their supervisor, division chief or chair that acknowledges the 12 month .20 FTE commitment and 6 month .10 FTE commitment for the program. The letter should include an agreement that covered time for the program will be available based on scholar research and program needs, including time for biweekly half day meetings, and an assurance of return to full or part time work following the program.
