According to the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 6 million adults have heart failure, also known as congestive heart failure. Heart failure may occur suddenly during an acute cardiac event or heart attack or over time, as a person’s heart becomes weaker. The latter type of heart failure often occurs as a result of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, cardiomyopathy and diabetes.
Our cardiovascular clinical trials may consist of evaluating novel therapies to treat patients with heart failure as well as observational studies.
