Help Shape Your Reunion Weekend

Medical Alumni Weekend is a signature event on the calendar and is not to be missed. It’s an opportune time to connect with friends and see what’s unfolding at the School of Medicine.

Activities and events are slated throughout the weekend, such as campus tours, a student panel, and the famed Strawberry Shortcake Luncheon. But you and your classmates also can tailor how you celebrate a milestone anniversary.

You can do so by volunteering to serve on a reunion planning committee. As part of that group, you would:

  • Advise on the agenda for your class dinner
  • Contact members of the class to encourage them to attend the reunion and support the class scholarship
  • Participate in two to three video calls to discuss progress and planning

We’re also grateful to all those alumni who offer input and leadership to make their reunion a wonderful experience for their classmates. Committees for the classes of 1973, 1974, 1983, and 1984 will begin meeting in September.

The School of Medicine’s Office of Gift Development and Alumni Relations is also dedicated to assisting volunteer committees in achieving success and hosting an event that attendees remember fondly. A liaison from the office also works closely with volunteers through the planning process.

Thank you in advance to all who volunteer and for enhancing the experience of Medical Alumni Weekend.
