64960-Allen, JasonAt Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, we pride ourselves on being a hub for current and future leaders in the field, driven by our exceptional patient-centered clinical services, groundbreaking research, and engaging educational programs. Throughout our more than 75-year history, we have been committed to fostering an environment where innovation and excellence thrive. Whether you are here as a potential student considering one of our educational pathways, a researcher eager to engage in cutting-edge projects, a radiologist interested in joining our outstanding clinical team, a supporter looking to help advance our mission, or a patient seeking exemplary care at one of our top-ranked hospitals or outpatient offices, we invite you to explore our website and discover the unique opportunities we offer. Our radiologists interpret more than 1.7 million clinical examinations and perform imaging-based procedures at facilities throughout the state of Indiana. The department is organized into 10 clinical divisions, who provide specialized clinical care to patients at the highest level. While our primary mission is to provide excellent clinical care, we also prioritize a culture of inclusivity and flexibility, allowing faculty and staff to pursue their areas of interest while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

In addition to our clinical mission, the department is home to a thriving research program that includes a large number of research faculty. We are consistently ranked in the top institutions for grant funding and our faculty and facilities also support the research efforts of investigators throughout Indiana University and globally. Through investigator-initiated research within our department and cross-departmental team science, we strive to develop new techniques that will directly improve the lives of our patients.

It is also our mission to train the next generation of clinicians who are not only knowledgeable but also innovative and adaptable to the evolving clinical landscape. Radiology is an ever-changing field that benefits immensely from cross-disciplinary collaboration. Our faculty are committed to providing educational experiences that are both comprehensive and engaging, ensuring that learning extends well beyond the classroom. Clinical rotations are an integral part of our curriculum, offering students the chance to work closely with faculty from various medical specialties. This exposure helps them understand the full scope of radiology's impact on patient care. Additionally, our trainees collaborate with leading research professors and industry experts in our advanced labs, gaining invaluable hands-on experience that lays the groundwork for their future careers. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or for more information about our programs and services. Our faculty and staff are always ready to assist and provide the support you need.
