IU McKinney to host BioPharma/Tech Law Symposium

INDIANAPOLIS — The Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will host the BioPharma/Tech Law Symposium on March 12.

Practitioners working in the field of biopharma and legal scholars with expertise in the discipline will be on hand to discuss issues such as “University Tech Transfers in BioPharma,” “Legal Issues in Clinical Trials (U.S. and Asia)” and “Patent Prosecution of Biologics,” among other topics.

A highlight will be a keynote address from Janet Gongola, ’03, senior advisor in the Office of the Under Secretary of Commerce and director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The event, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., carries with it 7.0 hours of CLE (pending approval) with paid attendance.
