IU McKinney Health Law Society launches inaugural Health Industry Networking Fair

INDIANAPOLIS — The Health Law Society of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will host its inaugural Health Industry Networking Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

The fair, open to all students on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the atrium of the IU McKinney School of Law building, Inlow Hall, 530 W. New York St.

Health industry attorneys and professionals from a variety of practice areas will participate in this informational fair designed to acquaint students with the wide variety of career paths available to them within the broad field of health law. A few participants will also collect resumes, so students are encourage to bring copies. The dress code for this event is business professional.

Registration is due Friday, Jan. 30.

The networking fair is one of a series of events being held as part of the Health Law Society’s annual observance of Health Law Week. Other events include:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 4, Noon to 2 p.m Mental Health Awareness Day, Inlow Hall atrium, information on mental health and screening for students.
  • Friday, Feb. 6, 9 to 11 p.m.  — Mixer at Taps and Dolls, 247 S. Meridian St., for students of all professional schools on IUPUI campus. A portion of the $5 cover charge will benefit the IU Student Outreach Clinic.
