INDIANAPOLIS — IU President Michael A. McRobbie will preside over the dedication ceremony for the Science and Engineering Laboratory Building on Nov. 19. The ceremony will feature a keynote address by John C. Lechleiter, chairman, president, and CEO of Eli Lilly and Co.
The $25 million high-tech building provides critically needed facilities and space for faculty and students to conduct research that contributes to the economic vitality of the state.
Other dedication ceremony participants include IUPUI Chancellor and IU Executive Vice President Charles R. Bantz, School of Science Dean Simon J. Rhodes, Purdue School of Engineering and Technology Dean David J. Russomanno, and two students, one from each of the schools.
WHEN: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. A reception and tour of the new building will take place immediately following the dedication ceremony.
