The Department of Gastroenterology at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking participants for a study comparing stool tests used to detect blood in the colon.

To qualify, participants must already be scheduled for a colonoscopy at the time they enroll in the study.

The fecal occult blood test study is a comparison of stool tests already on the market. Participation can be completed at home, and participants can have the colonoscopy at any location in Indiana.  Participants are compensated for their time and the trouble of mailing samples to the laboratory.

For additional information or to enroll, contact Douglas K. Rex, M.D., by phone at 317-948-8393 or by mail at 550 N. University Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
