<p>Keith R. Knuth, M.D., M.B.A, has joined the faculty of the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute.</p>

Keith R. Knuth, Indianapolis ophthalmologist, joins Glick Eye Institute faculty

Dr. Knuth, a native of Central Indiana, has practiced in Indianapolis for more than 20 years. He will see patients at the Glick Eye Institute’s Spring Mill and Mooresville locations.

“I am pleased to bring my practice to the IU Department of Ophthalmology and provide comprehensive vision care in state-of-the-art facilities that allow patients to be seen in locations close to their homes. I take pride in providing patient-centered care to promote overall wellness and preservation of our most precious sense, the gift of sight,” Dr. Knuth said.

Dr. Knuth received bachelor degrees from Purdue University and completed his medical degree at the IU School of Medicine. After a residency in family medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, he completed his training in ophthalmology at the IU School of Medicine. Dr. Knuth was recently awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration from Butler University.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Knuth join the IU Department of Ophthalmology as an associate clinical professor,” said Daniel H. Spitzberg, M.D., vice chair of adult clinical affairs. “He brings a wealth of experience to our faculty practice and will provide superior care for his patients in our clinics.”

A comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Knuth specializes in family-oriented eye care and has interests in glaucoma and in diabetic eye care. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Knuth is married with one daughter.  He enjoys woodworking, stained glass artwork, playing the violin and hiking.
