<p>Indra J. Das, Ph.D., professor of radiation oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine, has been named a 2011 Fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology. The induction ceremony will be in October during ASTRO’s 53rd Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, Fla.</p>

Dr. Das was selected in recognition of his leadership roles with the society and his contributions to the field of radiation oncology.

In his role at the IU School of Medicine, Dr. Das also provides leadership and expertise in medical physics at the Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center in Bloomington, Ind.
