Grays Receives American Academy of Neurology Minority Scholarship

The award recognizes the recipient’s outstanding achievements as a medical student. Eight scholarships were awarded by the AANF.

Grays, 24, is a native of Grand Blanc, Mich., and a graduate of Xavier University in Louisiana. Grays intends to specialize in neurology after she receives her medical degree next year.

The scholarship will allow Grays to attend the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting in Hawaii and participate in four educational courses. The AAN is an international association of more than 22,000 neurology professionals and the Foundation was formed to support education and research in the field.
