Consumers, Healthcare Providers Invited to Autism Conference at Riley Hospital

Susan M. Wilczynski, Ph.D., executive director of the National Autism Center and chair of the National Standards Project, will be the keynote speaker.

The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of research in the field of autism and its implementation into everyday work with individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The conference will cover such topics as current state of research, transportability of best practices, cross-disciplinary collaboration, using research to guide care, and validity of treatments that are relevant to physicians, mental health professionals, educators, parents, and others interested in working with individuals with an ASD.
