About Senem

Senem Guler is the Associate Director of Faculty Recruiting in the Indiana University School of Medicine's Faculty Affairs and Professional Development department. She leads the faculty recruiting team, overseeing executive recruiting operations, faculty recruiting consultation, and the dual career program. Senem has managed 42 national searches for roles from chair, dean, and president to other school and university-level positions. Additionally, she has consulted 72 search processes for division chiefs, vice chairs, and endowed chair roles. She works to ensure a smooth search and screening process for both hiring committees and candidates, always looking for opportunities to enhance recruitment operations. Senem holds two master's degrees. Her first is in International Relations, focusing on the European Union, from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. Her second is in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. In her free time, Senem enjoys playing with her son, painting, and filming the black bears that wander into their backyard in Connecticut.
