About Corie
Corie Farnsley is the communications generalist for IU School of Medicine Faculty Affairs and Professional Development. A proud Indiana University Bloomington School of Journalism alumna, she joined the FAPD team in 2023 with nearly 25 years of experience in communications and marketing. Her background includes 15 years of running a small communications agency she started, serving primarily not-for-profit organizations, as well as experience in higher education, health care, ministry and foundation communications.
In her role as communications generalist, she focuses on telling the story of FAPD by sharing information about the many opportunities the unit provides for individuals’ professional development, the stories behind how these offerings help shape a broad culture of faculty vitality, and ultimately the impact IU School of Medicine faculty have on the future of health.
