Getting around Indianapolis is an easy task with access to public transportation, multiple major highway systems, popular bike shares and easy-to-navigate streets.

As an up-and-coming food scene, Indianapolis has options for every type of cuisine and has been recognized with three James Beard semi-finalists in 2019. Not sure where to eat? There are plenty of top-rated public-school districts in and around Indianapolis that rank in the top 10 of Indiana. As the capital of Indiana, Indianapolis has many good quality public school districts that provide children of all ages with a wealth of opportunity and topnotch education.

Private schools are also a popular option with many scattered in and around the city including those with a religious, academic or international focus. Depending on personal needs, there are private schools that accommodate every stage of learning including private high schools and private K-8s.

Enjoy the art and culture Indy has to offer! With the world’s largest children’s museum, the only Native American museum of its type in the Midwest and a combination nature park and art museum it’s easy to explore new cultures and have fun.
