Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Medicine, in partnership with Indiana University Health and Indiana University Health Physicians, is recruiting a Cardiovascular Medicine division chief who will also serve as the co-director of the IU School of Medicine-IU Health Cardiovascular Institute (CVI). As the division chief, the position will lead the academic faculty in research, education and clinical care. This position will also co-lead the CVI, with the other co-lead from the Department of Surgery, to develop and execute strategies that will further the joint interests of the health system and the School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have a strong background in academic leadership across the tripartite clinical, education and research missions. Additional qualifications include a national reputation in cardiology, a record of scholarship in the discipline, and documented success in leading collaborative strategic initiatives.
