Two new co-chairs have been selected to assist Sylk Sotto, EdD, MBA, MPS, in leading two important Department of Medicine groups.
Cindy Brown, MD, will be co-chair of the Women in Medicine group.
Francesca Duncan, MD, will be co-chair of the Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Duncan said, "I am excited about this new role as Co-chair of Equity & Inclusion in the Department of Medicine, which will afford me the opportunity to support ongoing efforts in this space, as well as bring innovative ideas to continue to improve on equity and inclusion. I want to help make Indiana University a medical community that embraces diversity and commits to the development of a culture of inclusion and ensuring there is a pathway for everyone to succeed."
