Phase 2: Sign up for ERAS and composite portraits

Photo of the members of the IU School of Medicine Class of 2024IU School of Medicine offers you a convenient way to get professional photos for ERAS. Don't miss this opportunity to present a polished and professional impression for residency programs.

Photographers will visit each campus this year on a date selected by the campus—most are Connection Days or STEP days, for your convenience.

This photo program includes:  

  • A professional photo session  
  • Proofs of your photos to select your favorite.  
  • Basic retouching (more extensive retouching available at additional cost)  
  • Select the final image for ERAS and your unlimited use of that image. 
  • Your photo is included in the Class of 2026 composite. 
  • 12-by-15-inch printed composite for you  

Scheduled sessions and sign-ups (hyperlinked items are now open):

  • Bloomington – Tuesday, Sept. 2410-11 am (ET)
  • Indianapolis – Tuesday, Sept. 24, 9 am-4 pm (ET) AND an additional date in 2025—but don’t wait!
  • Muncie – Tuesday, Sept. 244-4:30 pm (ET)
  • Evansville – October options coming.
  • Fort Wayne - Tuesday, Oct 22, 10-11 am. Watch for sign-up link.
  • Northwest/Gary – Tuesday, Oct. 22, 3-4 pm (CST) . Watch for sign-up link.
  • South Bend - February.
  • Terre Haute – Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10-11 am. Watch for sign-up link.
  • West Lafayette - February.

Wear professional clothing such as a tie and jacket—no short sleeves and no solid colors. Don't wear your white coat. The cost is $38.95, payable by e-check or credit card the day of the photo session. You will be able to see the photos on-site and can select your favorite. Final images will be sent after the session for your unlimited use.

Participation is not required. However, this is an economical and convenient way to obtain professional photos and be included in the class composite. You can submit your photo for the composite next year at a higher price if you wish to be included.

If you do not have your photo taken or submitted, you will be listed as “Not Pictured” on the class composite.
