Program Admissions

Any current, former or graduated student from a regionally accredited college or university can apply for admission into the Medical Laboratory Science Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program at Indiana University School of Medicine. Students not currently enrolled at IU Indianapolis must apply for enrollment at IU Indianapolis before submitting the Health Professions Program application.

Students apply to the Medical Laboratory Science program during the fall semester for enrollment with the cohort starting the next fall semester. Most students submit their application during their third or fourth years of postsecondary coursework. Students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree may also apply.

Students accepted into the Medical Laboratory Science program must complete all of the program’s admission requirements before classes begin. Admission into IU Indianapolis does not guarantee enrollment into the Medical Laboratory Science program.

Apply

Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science are encouraged to apply. A limited number of scholarships are available for accepted students.
