Through interdisciplinary research in neuroimaging, neurogenetics, outcome measurement and intervention studies, investigators in the Brain Rehabilitation, Advanced Imaging and Neuroscience (BRAIN) Center at Indiana University School of Medicine address serious gaps in knowledge about acquired brain injury to improve function.
Current Research
Rigorous basic and translational research at the center focuses on developing personalized behavioral-measurement tools and identifying replicable neurophysiologic markers that correlate with behavioral processes. The advanced imaging and genetic assessment capabilities of the IU School of Medicine Center for Neuroimaging and Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics provide important resources for this research agenda.
