INDIANAPOLIS — As part of Homecoming 2016, an IUPUI Campus Center ballroom will become an “ice” skating rink for the first-ever campus indoor ice skating party. IUPUI students, faculty and staff can bring their own hockey skates — no figure skates allowed — or put on a pair of specialty skates to enjoy a night on a 22-by-50-foot rink.
Illinois-based Record-A-Hit Entertainment will install the iceless skating rink for the IUPUI Winterfest activities which, in addition to skating, will include cookie decorating, screenings of the movie “The Mighty Ducks,” and food services.
