This summer, MSC put together a new initiative called "IUSM Backpack." This Microsoft Teams page serves as your centralized hub for accessing all resources available at IU School of Medicine.
IUSM Backpack brings together everything you need in one place, including:
- Committees: Explore opportunities to get involved in Dean-Appointed, MSE-Appointed, and MSC-Appointed committees as well as details on Fall and Spring Interview Days
- Student Interest Groups (SIGs): Find and join Specialty SIGs, Special Topics SIGs, and National Association SIGs, or learn how to create your own.
- Medical Student Council (MSC): Connect with your student representatives, find class officer contacts, learn how to run for positions, and stay updated with MSC minutes.
- Wellness: Access mental health resources, wellness tips, and more.
- Service Learning: Discover volunteering opportunities across campuses and add any ways you like to get involved.
- Curriculum: Stay informed on curriculum updates and learn how to contribute your input.
- Education & Research: Find links to educational resources, tutoring information, research programs, and travel grant opportunities.
