Graduating IU School of Medicine students must update their degree name and student home address in the Student Center to ensure accurate diploma delivery and access to their CeCredential.

MS4s: Update your diploma information today

Class of 2025:

You should have received a March 4 notification from the IUI Registrar and University Events regarding updating your degree name and address via the Student Center in preparation for graduation. The IUI emails link directly to your Student Center page where you can update this information.

Please note: the degree name is the name that will appear on your diploma—the one that will ship to your home address (student home address in the Student Center), so make sure you update both in the Student Center.

You will receive a final reminder from IUI on May 1. To update or change your degree name or student home address, go to go to Student Center > My Profile > Biographical Information. You will see the name and address information IUI has on file. You can make edits as needed.

Again, the degree name is what will appear on your diploma; the student home address is where your diploma will be mailed. Please see information under Degree Name and Student Home Address at this link for additional information about the degree name and student home address fields in the Student Center.

Your IU School of Medicine diploma will be ordered within a few days of your degree date (May 15, 2025). It will ship to your student home address within two weeks of the order date.

Your CeCredential (e-diploma) will be available at that same time. You will receive an email from Paradigm when yours is available. That email will include a link you will use to purchase and download your CeCredential.

If your residency program requires a copy of your diploma before you receive it, you can provide them with a copy of your CeCredential once it is made available to you. If your program will accept a letter verifying your degree in lieu of a diploma copy, request a letter to medcred@iu.edu. Put “2025 Grad” in the subject line.
