Phase 3 students: you may qualify for up to $120,000 in tax-free loan repayment for your medical student loans by committing to three years of service with the National Health Services Corps, which serves in high-need rural, tribal, or urban communities.
The application is open through Thursday, November 7, at 7:30 pm ET.
A Maternity Care Target Area Supplemental Award of an additional $40,000 is available to physicians specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, or family medicine physicians who practice obstetrics on a regular basis, as well as certified nurse midwives.
Basic eligibility requirements
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
- Enrolled as a full-time student in the last year of a medical, nursing, or dental school with a graduation date during the application year
- Pursuing an eligible discipline: MD/DO, DDS/DMD, NP, CNM, or PA
