On behalf of the IU Interprofessional Practice and Education Center, the IU Center for Rural Engagement, the IU Department of Criminal Justice, and the IU School of Social Work, we are excited to announce the Veteran Trauma and Transparency Program for spring 2024.
The Veteran Trauma and Transparency program will increase awareness and knowledge of military culture and experiences for future service providers to improve the quality of care for veterans. Students that complete all four workshops will earn a certificate of completion from the Interprofessional Practice and Education Center.
Disclaimer: This in-person program is for students in their third/fourth year of undergraduate studies or at the graduate level. It is a development series where each workshop builds off the other. Students are encouraged to attend all four workshops to maximize the learning experience. The training will include content and exposure to sensitive personal stories.
