On October 1, the AAMC opened up its Medical School Year Two Questionnaire (Y2Q). Second-year IU School of Medicine students are encouraged to complete it.

Second Years: Take the Y2Q today

Second-year students: AAMC emailed you on October 1 asking you to take its Medical School Year Two Questionnaire (Y2Q). IU School of Medicine encourages you to participate in the survey at your earliest convenience. The response rate from our second-year students thus far is below 10 percent. Can you help us improve that?

Y2Q asks for your thoughts on topics such as learning climate, adjustments to medical school, and future career plans. It aims to find how you've adapted thus far to the medical school experience.

A link in the AAMC email will guide you to the survey, which takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

AAMC has more information about the Y2Q, including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and other resources.

Although the survey closes on January 5, we strongly encourage you to take it earlier. AAMC will send reminder emails on November 1, November 15, December 1, December 15, and January 1.

Students with issues accessing the Y2Q should email Y2Q@aamc.org as soon as possible—include your full name and school in the email message.
