New public health and preventative medicine elective offers stipend

Do you want to earn a $2,000 stipend for taking an elective?

The Indiana Primary Care Advancement in Clinical Training (INPACT) HRSA Grant, in partnership with the Indiana State Department of Health and local County Departments of Health, offers a unique hands-on externship that will give you real-world experience in preventive medicine and public health in Indiana communities.

Students will work with county health officials to investigate and address high-priority public health problems including various infectious diseases (including TB, HIV, and STIs), food-borne disease outbreaks, maternal and child health, child or adult immunization, and chronic disease management.
