The Indiana University Medical Student Program for Research and Scholarship (IMPRS) offers valuable research opportunities to medical students at IU School of Medicine.
This past summer, over 200 rising P1Y2 medical students from all nine campuses participated in mentored research associated with the IMPRS Summer Research Program. They showcased their findings at the 2024 Research Symposium held July 25 and 26 in Indianapolis.
Research projects covered a variety of fields, including:
- Laboratory research
- Translational research
- Clinical research
- Community engagement
- Education research
- Health outcomes research
Congratulations to those who received recognition for their poster presentations. Finalists will have the opportunity to compete for research scholarship awards made possible by the generosity of our donors.
