On Friday, March 17, the IU School of Medicine Class of 2023 will join peers from around the nation to learn where they will spend the next phase of their medical careers. Faculty and staff are invited to watch this year’s residency Match Day event via livestream on the school’s Facebook page. The live coverage will begin at 11:40 am ET, and the class will open their red envelopes at noon ET.
Due to capacity limitations at the IUPUI Campus Center, this year’s in-person Match Day event is open only for matching students and their guests with reservations.
In addition to watching the livestream, faculty and staff are encouraged to send celebratory messages on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #IUSMmatch2023 or uploading their messages to Walls.io. Send your congratulatory message now.
Match Day is an annual event when fourth-year medical students across the nation learn their residency details from the National Resident Matching Program.
