Emily Schlorf
Emily Schlorf is communications associate for Indiana University School of Medicine Faculty Affairs and Professional Development (FAPD). She helps tell the story of FAPD by sharing information about the many opportunities the unit provides for faculty members’ professional development, the stories behind how these offerings help shape a broad culture of faculty vitality and ultimately the impact IU School of Medicine faculty have on the future of health. Emily is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., but she fell in love with Indianapolis while she was studying voice and English literature at Butler University. After moving back to the Sunshine State after earning her bachelor’s degree, she eventually returned to Indianapolis and joined the FAPD team in January 2025.
