Each year, the Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine recognizes fellows and faculty members with awards voted on by their colleagues.
The 2024 Richard B. Schnute Award was presented to Wade Jodeh, MD, who will graduate in June from the endocrinology fellowship program. The award, which was first given in 2002, is voted on by the faculty and given to a fellow in recognition of outstanding compassion, professionalism and clinical care as exemplified by Dr. Schnute.
Three faculty members were also named Teacher of the Year for 2024: Melissa Cavaghan, MD; James Walsh, MD; and Zeb Saeed, MBBS. This award was first presented in 2022. It is voted on by the fellows and presented to a faculty member in recognition of outstanding dedication to medical education.
