Jennifer Marsh named first Director of Quality Assurance at IU School of Medicine

Jennifer Marsh has been named as the first Director of Quality Assurance for Research Affairs at Indiana University School of Medicine. Marsh is tasked with establishing a consistent approach to quality across IU School of Medicine, leading to a unified quality system focused on best practices and continuous improvement.

Marsh joined IU School of Medicine in 2018 as part of the IU Precision Health Initiative Grand Challenge to provide high-level support for the expansion of quality assurance for the Cell, Gene and Immunotherapy Pillar. She has also contributed to the development and expansion of quality assurance in other areas within IU School of Medicine, including Regenstrief Institute and the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI).

Prior to joining IU, Marsh was a Senior Director of Quality at Eli Lilly and Company. She has over 24 years of quality assurance experience at Lilly, encompassing product development, manufacturing, engineering, clinical operations, and distribution. Marsh received her Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University.
