Pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, and all other clinicians are invited to attend the Riley Children’s Health Pediatric Conference. Hosted by Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and Riley Children’s Health, the conference will be held on May 8 – 9, 2024. The first day will be virtual via Zoom, and the second day will be in-person at University Tower in Indianapolis, Indiana. View the agenda or register.
1. CME Information:
Physicians and non-physicians can receive a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize how trauma presents in children, and how the presentation makes mimic other common childhood conditions.
- Know simple strategies to help families cope after trauma.
- Describe how positive childhood experiences relate to later mental and physical health.
- Identify strategies to emphasize positive childhood experiences with patients and families.
- Gain knowledge about strategies to identify and treat children with hearing loss.
- Confidently identify which children need referrals for abnormal head shapes.
2. Networking:
The second day of the conference is in-person at University Tower in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for networking and relationship building with specialists from Riley Children’s Health as well as community providers and peers.

This year’s theme is “Pediatric Hot Topics 2024.”. Riley physicians and experts will speak about Child Abuse Pediatrics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Child Neurology, Geriatric Psychiatry, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Nephrology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatrics, Primary Care, and Rheumatology.
