New staff

Ashlee Roell is joining the IU Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine as a Research Program Manager. Ashlee completed her Bachelor's degree in General Studies at IUPUI. She has been with IU for over 6 years. She first worked in Gastroenterology, within the DOM, as an Administration Secretary, for Dr. Douglas Rex and then took a job at MRES as a Research Administrative Coordinator.

Ashlee has a strong foundation of the pre-award and review process for proposals, along with the administrative tasks needed to serve our highly successful faculty members. She joined the Pathology team on June 21st. She loves to travel and paint. She is married and lives in Batesville, Indiana with her Rottweiler, Remi.
Grace Carpio is joining the IU Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine as a Front Desk Liaison as of June 27th.

Grace is a fourth year student majoring in Forensic and Investigative Science with a concentration in Chemistry.
Jillian Crist is joining the IU Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine as a Human Resource Coordinator. Jillian completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management at the Kelley School of Business.

She enjoys being outdoors and relaxing with a good book to read, specifically the Harry Potter series. Jillian is very excited to grow and develop her career with the IU School of Medicine.

Nickolas Maynard is joining IU Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine as a Histotechnologist. Nick has completed an undergraduate Biology degree from Indiana University Kokomo and holds a Histotechnologist certification from ASCP.

He has worked & developed his skills in various histology labs across the state. He joined the team on June 21st. He usually enjoys a night in watching movies.
