CAITS was notified late last week that the Campus Networking Infrastructure team will be upgrading the SSL VPN hardware early on Wednesday, November 14th. Apologies for the short timing of this notification. This will require that a new VPN client be installed. Details:
- Effective: November 14th @ 7:00 am
- Required Change: Upgrade of Pulse Secure VPN client on all Windows and Apple workstations
- Affected Users: Anyone that uses a secure VPN connection to connect to the IU network from off-campus.
- Expected User Experience: User will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version of the Pulse Secure VPN software when creating a secure connection to IU.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not complete the install, you will still be securely connected to IU. Prompts will continue to be displayed each time you re-connect to VPN until the new version is installed.
